bio

"Growing up I wanted to be a guitarist, professional football player (Cleveland Brown) and a pilot! As a little boy hours countless hours were spent in imaginary concerts, football stadiums and cockpits. However, in the end, it was music that won the day. I played my first 'concert' in the 5th grade. Now at my age I am pretty sure no NFL contract is in the future but I may yet manage a pilots license! My days are filled in the pursuit of God, loving my wife and children, sharing the love of Jesus and playing a tune for any willing ear."

John is husband to his wife, Lori (for 24 years!) and father to a couple of great kids, Moriah, 13 and Jonathan, 10. His family is the MOST important thing to him.

He’s played guitar since the age of 10 and has literally been all over the world for the past 20 years making music. John has written countless songs, recorded and produced several original projects and lent his talents to the works of many others. Additionally, John has served as a senior pastor communicating the truths and teachings of Jesus Christ to thousands of people.

His life's mission is to encourage and inspire others in their life's journey and to lead them into a vital relationship with Christ.

"John Allison is a dynamic performer who plays his instrument as if it was an extension of his body. His energy is electric and people are immediately drawn to him. His voice matches his guitar playing with richness in his tone and a lyrical delivery to his well written songs...what a talent he is!!!"

Grammy and Multiple Dove Award winning

"John Allison inspires with his songs and performances. It's not possible to separate the man from his music and his message."

-Fred Sturm

“As a live performer, it is impossible to ignore him. You not only hear what he is singing and playing, you witness the words as they come to life in John’s expression. And in an era of manufactured musical heroes, John is anything but. He is true, honest, and gifted.”

-James Casto
